- Ensure that small businesses of all types are given fair opportunity and consideration to participate in the firm's subcontracting process.
- Provide all Burt Hill employees who are involved in the acquisition of materials and services adequate tools and training to enhance their ability to meet the firm's supplier diversity goals and objectives.
Policy
It is Burt Hill policy to facilitate the achievement of its negotiated subcontracting goals by pursuing opportunities to award subcontracts to small, small disadvantaged, women, veterans, and historically black and tribally owned colleges and universities, and other minority institutions. This program will be consistent with Burt Hill's policy of considering all subcontractors and suppliers fairly in competition for requirements falling within their demonstrated capabilities.
This policy applies to government contracts and, to the extent practicable, non-government work.
